2024 Atwood Area Fall Festival Photo Contest - Rules, Specifications and Catagories

  This year marks the 14th Annual Photo Contest at the Atwood Area Fall Festival, scheduled for October
4th, 5th, and 6th, at beautiful Atwood Lake Park, in Mineral City, Ohio. The contest is managed by the
local photo club, Focus Point. We offer anyone interested in photography an opportunity to be creative
and show their best photographs in the following limited categories:

Categories:
1. Motion
2. Vintage
3. On the Beach

Youth – Separate category for photos taken by those under age 18, also includes the above categories.

Entry Fee: $4.00 per photograph entered (cash only) limit of 3 photos per person; one in each category.

Rules and Specifications:
 1. Photograph entries must have been taken by the entrant, using a camera or cell phone.
 2. Minimal digital editing is acceptable (such as: adjusting color, contrast, sharpness, cropping, etc.).
 3. Due to space limitations, restrict the overall size to no larger than 11” x 14” (including any mat used).
 4. Photos must be mounted on stiff backer board, foamboard, or matted. No glass or frames, please.

   Please place identifying information on the back of each photo (your name, contact information, and
category entered). Please do NOT tape your entry form to the back of the photo.
   Photographers should complete an entry form (below) and submit it with their labeled photos at the
Weaver “Photo Barn,” located in Camp Area H, across from the restrooms, on Thursday, October 3rd
between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., or make special arrangements for early drop-off with a Focus Point
member (see contact information below).
   Winners will be awarded ribbons for first, second, and third places, and the Atwood Festival will award
plaques.
  Every effort will be made to ensure the safety and security of all submitted photographs. However,
neither Focus Point, nor the Atwood Fall Festival Committee, nor the Muskingum Watershed
Conservancy District will be liable for any damages to submitted photos.
   Retrieval of photographs will be on Sunday, October 6th, from 3:00 p.m. until festival closing time of
5:00 p.m., unless other arrangements are made.
